Blackworks New Year's Day opens 2026 with a twelve-hour marathon at La Cubierta de Leganés

As 2025 draws to a close, Blackworks already knows how it wants to start the new year. On Thursday 1 January, La Cubierta de Leganés hosts Blackworks New Year's Day, a twelve-hour marathon starting at 18:00 that makes New Year's Day a must for Madrid's techno crowd.

The bill leaves no gaps. 6EJOU will perform live, 999999999 is also on the bill and Cancel will share the booth with Rebekah in a back-to-back. Fernanda Martins and Lukas team up for a four-deck session, while Parfait goes b2b with DJ Hyperdrive. Holy Priest, Krenon, Nikolina, Paraçek and Ueberrest complete the programme.

The mix of live sets, one-off pairings and names from different corners of techno promises a long and varied day, made for those who would rather welcome the year on the dancefloor than on the sofa. La Cubierta, with its large covered space, is once again the setting for one of the brand's landmark dates.
