Attica marks its 39th anniversary at LAB theClub, reviving a cathedral of electronic music

Attica is opening its doors again, even if under a different roof. On Saturday 28 March, from 23:59, LAB theClub at Chamartín station will host the 39th anniversary of Attica, one of the clubs that shaped the history of electronic music in Madrid.

At kilometre 15.5 of the old N-II road, what many remember as the cathedral of Madrid's electronic scene was born: the school of never-ending weekends. Downstairs, El Infierno (Hell), with its pressure, darkness and smoke; upstairs, El Cielo (Heaven), the terrace of sunny days that still shine in the memory of those who were there. The club closed, but, as the brand itself puts it, it never died: it lives on in the people who experienced it.

This time, Attica's spirit is summoned once more at LAB, under a motto that sums up the attitude of the night: do not disturb, once again, we are dancing. The anniversary poster, showing the silhouette of the original building among industrial chimneys, pays tribute to that history.

The artist line-up has not been announced yet. The event is produced by 2M GROUP, and the first invitations, available for a limited time, can be obtained through the brand's official channel, linked from the event page on this site.
