Union Jack is a British trance project formed in 1993 by Simon Berry — also known as Art of Trance and founder of the Platipus label — and Claudio Giussani, previously one half of Urban Shakedown. Focused on acid and tech trance, it broke through with the single “Two Full Moons & a Trout”, regarded as a genre classic and one of the most covered and remixed British trance records of the 1990s. Over the years the duo has released further singles and remixes, and its tracks remain fixtures of classic trance sets and revival parties.
