Tham is the project of German DJ and producer Andreas Thamsen, one of the faces of Berlin's harder techno. He grew up on the city's dancefloors and has been a resident of underground Berlin clubs and collectives such as Synoid, Griessmuehle and Lebendig. His techno is built on pounding bass drums, complex grooves and aggressive synth lines with a deliberately hypnotic effect. He runs the Driller label, launched with an EP of four of his own tracks, and in February 2023 he started the four-deck project Overdrive together with VII Circle, touring European clubs and festivals with it.
