Steve Hovington is a British singer, bass player and songwriter, the voice and main writer of B-Movie, the synth pop band formed in 1979. He wrote the lyrics and melodies of the singles that made the band known in the early 1980s, among them «Remembrance Day» and «Nowhere Girl», the latter a European dance-floor classic and a staple of new wave sets. After the group split he kept writing, and in the 2000s he resumed activity with B-Movie through tours and new recordings. He combines music with writing and keeps an official website for his projects; live, he alternates the band's historic repertoire with more recent material of his own.
