Pelacha, the stage name of Esperanza Camacho (Vigo, 1970), is a Spanish DJ, producer and promoter and one of the most respected figures in Spanish techno. She started DJing in Madrid in the late 1980s and was a resident at clubs in the capital such as Consulado, Epsilon, Arena, Davai and Surface. Her sets are eclectic, moving between techno, experimental techno, electro and house. In 2010 she founded her own label, Redsonja Records, releasing on digital and vinyl and distributed by Rubadub. She has played clubs and festivals across Europe, including Awakenings, and also records part of her work as Redsonja.
