Patrick Codenys is a Belgian musician and keyboard player, a founding member of Front 242, a key electronic body music (EBM) act since the early 1980s. With his bandmates he defined a sound of metallic sequences, martial rhythms and samples that shaped industrial, techno and much of European club music. Alongside his work with Front 242 and various side projects, Codenys regularly performs as a DJ with sets built around EBM, industrial and dark electronic music, which he has brought to clubs and festivals across Europe and the Americas. Line-ups usually bill him with a reference to Front 242.
