Nikolina is a German DJ and producer based in Berlin, one of the driving forces behind the schranz revival. Her style, which she calls “schroove”, crosses hard techno with the force of schranz and a strong groove element, and often works in 1990s Eurodance references, as on her track “No More Lies”. She discovered the scene as a teenager at Berlin's Suicide Club and has since made a name at Berlin venues such as OST, Kreuzwerk and M-BIA, as well as on the HÖR platform and at European festivals. Mixmag asked her to put together a ten-track guide to the genre.
