Karah is the alias of Kadir, a Dutch DJ and producer born and based in Rotterdam and one of the leading names in today's hard techno. He started going to techno events around his city in 2013 and in 2019 decided to take up DJing and producing professionally within the genre. His sound is built on crushing kicks and dark industrial textures, with sets of sustained energy combining heavy percussion and dense atmospheres. He founded the labels Kharma and Falsive Records, releasing his own music and giving a platform to emerging artists, and plays regularly at European festivals and clubs.
