German DJ and producer born in Frankfurt, alias of Kai Franz, whose stage name combines the styles trance and acid. He gained worldwide fame with 'Liquid Skies' (1998) and scored his first German top 10 with 'Life Is Too Short' (2001); he runs the Tracid Traxxx label and, after a hiatus in 2009, returned in 2020 with 'DT64'.
