Invisible Limits are a German synth pop and electro wave band founded in the mid-1980s around singer Marion Küchenmeister, with drummer Andreas Küchenmeister and bass player Ralf Schauf. They are considered one of the pioneering names of the first German synth wave. Between 1987 and 1995 they released four studio albums and a live record, and their cover of Joy Division's «Love Will Tear Us Apart» gave them cult status across Europe, opening up circuits such as the Spanish and French ones, which they have toured regularly. The band remains active, with reissues of its catalogue and appearances at festivals devoted to eighties electronic music.
