Ice MC

Ice MC is the stage name of Ian Colin Campbell, a British rapper born in Nottingham in 1965 who built his career in Italy. He debuted in 1989 and reached his commercial peak with producer Roberto “Savage” Zanetti on the album “Ice'n'Green” (1994), which produced “Think About the Way”, “It's a Rainy Day” — a number one in Italy — and “Take Away the Colour”, three defining Eurodance anthems. His records were among the first in the genre to combine ragamuffin rapping with sung female choruses. He has released five albums, including “Cinema” (1990), “Dreadatour” (1996) and “Cold Skool” (2004), and still performs at 90s parties and festivals.
