Dj Skudero, the stage name of Marc Escudero Gonzálvez (Terrassa, 1976), is one of the biggest names in Spanish mákina and hardcore. From 1996 he was resident DJ and musical director of the Pont Aeri club alongside his brother Xavi Escudero (Xavi Metralla), turning the brand into the reference point for the Catalan hard sound. In the late 1990s he strung together several Spanish top ten singles, and in 2000 he produced, with his brother and Rubén Moreno (Dj Ruboy), “Flying Free”, included on “Pont Aeri Vol. 4”, which in 2001 was voted best mákina track by the magazines DJ1 and Deejay. He has played in more than two hundred clubs in Spain and abroad.
