DJ Hyperdrive is a German DJ based in Berlin who combines high-speed music with enveloping atmospheres: his repertoire runs from fast techno to deep, funky trance by way of hard trance and psytrance, with clear roots in old-school trance and the early decades of electronic music. He started out in Cologne with the Purest Health collective and moved to Berlin to develop his own project, where he is a resident of the Crude party series and has played venues such as RSO, Tresor and Münze, as well as the HÖR platform. He releases on hard trance labels and tours European festivals.
