Ask about my eventDance Divine is the project of artist Diana Dobrescu, combining live singing and techno in a format halfway between a DJ set and a performance. Her shows start from vocal repertoires of ritual and cosmological origin, layered over fast, forceful beats, with stage movement as part of the spectacle. She has performed at clubs, festivals and art spaces, and her material has been supported by DJs such as Ellen Allien and SPFDJ. She releases her music on Bandcamp and has appeared on key underground platforms such as Hör. Her work sits at the crossroads of the dance floor and the performing arts.
