D-Formation

D-Formation is the alias of Spanish DJ and producer Dimas Carbajo, whose career in electronic music spans more than three decades. At a young age he founded the label MD Records and the vinyl distributor Resolute Distribution, and in 2003 he reshaped his sound with the D-Formation project, moving between progressive house, tech house and melodic techno. He has released on labels such as Toolroom, Yoshitoshi (Deep Dish's imprint, for which he mixed the compilation “Madrid”), Stereo Productions, CR2, Nervous and Tusom, and reached number 39 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs. He runs Beatfreak Recordings, one of the leading labels of Spanish underground electronic music.
