Basswell is the alias of French DJ and producer Mathias Boitel, from Lyon. His hard techno, with industrial elements and a 1990s rave sound, has appeared on Amelie Lens's label Exhale, and tracks such as “Bass Down Low” and “Around” are among the most played in his catalogue.
