Aphøtic is the alias of Mathijs, a hard and industrial techno DJ from Rotterdam whose name refers to the aphotic zone, the region of the ocean without sunlight. He discovered techno in 2018, honed his skills during the pandemic and has been booked several times by the promoter Verknipt. With 2M GROUP he has played at Hyperlink Rave, at Sala Groove in Pinto, in 2023.
